Ask any of your girlfriends – one of the best night’s out in Chicago happens in Boystown. For the lady who wants to celebrate her impending marriage without worrying about being hit on by drunk straight guys, Boystown is the answer to your pleas. The people who frequent Boystown’s hotspots are high spirited, super friendly, and always down to party.
Home Bistro
3404 N Halsted
Start the night off right with a delicious meal at Home Bistro. Their shtick is familiar flavors executed in unexpected ways. It’s BYOB, so you can save your money for drinks at the next stops on this list.
Kit Kat Lounge
3700 N Halsted
Ok, you could actually eat here too, but it’s not the food that Kit Kat Lounge is known for. No, your stop here is to indulge of one of Boystown’s greatest types of entertainment – a drag show.
Bust out those singles, and tip the queens whose style you connect with the most. Complement the performance with one of Kit Kat Lounge’s signature martinis, or any of their other 200 cocktail offerings!
Replay
3439 N Halsted St
With a number of locations in Chicago, Replay has already been extensively vetted for you as a great bar to patronize. Like the popular Headquarters Beercade, it’s an arcade bar. For your bachelorette party, it provides the perfect segue between dinner and clubbing.
The North End
3733 N Halsted St
Arcade games not your thing? No problem. Pregame the clubs at The North End. This sports bar may seem like a dude’s paradise, but they’re known to occasionally host karaoke. Call ahead to find out for sure (or put in a special request on behalf of the bride to be!).
Roscoe’s Tavern
3356 N Halsted St
Honestly, no matter which Boystown club you end up at, you’re guaranteed to have fun. After all, there’s really no
single spot for fun and debauchery in this Chicago neighborhood. That said, Roscoe’s is at the epicenter of where everything tends to happen, and has a reputation as being one of the best clubs in Boystown.
Berlin
954 W Belmont Ave
Berlin doesn’t take a side, but instead caters to people of all orientations. This nightclub has a bunch of fun special events and live entertainment to compliment your girl’s night out. It’s also conveniently located right under the CTA Red/Brown/Purple Line Belmont stop, so it makes for an ideal last stop of the night for those in your crew who are willing to brave public transit after a night of heavy drinking.
Of course, if you make it past Berlin, you’ll be happy to know that there are a lot of late-night eats open for hungry club-goers. End the night with some greasy Mexican food, and just maybe, your hangover won’t be as bad the next day.
